When you hear about Santorini one of the echoes is Caldera`s, La Caldera is the true heart of Santorini and at present 400 meters deep there is still a crater of 10 km in diameter. Also in its center are numerous thermal springs and a new volcano the Nea Kameni to distinguish it from Palea Kameni. Although the incredible Caldera panorama is admired from every corner of the island, those who do a holiday in Santorini can not leave the island without hiking to discover this magical natural spectacle.
