Bizarre rock formations, Randolphs Leap, Findhorn River, Scotland, UK

This picture shows rock formations formed in bizarre shapes over the millenia by nature forces and the Findhorn River at a place called Randolphs Leap. Its location is close to the Lodgie Steading Farm a few miles south of the old royal town of Forres. The river is coming down from the Monadhliath Mountains. Contrary to what some locals want you to believe, its dark amber brown colour does not originate from destilleries dumping their bad gone whiskey into the river. The colour is caused by the moors up in the mountains from which the river collects a lot water. Randolps Leap also is a well known mystical place amongst some folks. They say the seperation in between our material world and the spirit realm is very thin there. Indeed Randolphs Leap is one of the photoghraphers favourite magic places to go when traveling Scotland.
