Anchor Brewery, brewing under that name since 1896, when Ernst Baruth and his son-in-law Otto Schinkel bought the company and changed the name. When Fritz Maytag bought it, in 1965, he saved it, in part, by transforming it into the craft brewer it is today. The copper brewhouse, used for the brewing.
