A view from the front lawn of this Roman Catholic parish church in Guelph, Ontario, in the Diocese of Hamilton. Designated a Basilica by Pope Francis in 2014 after a significant restoration project lasting several years, this landmark is the top tourist attraction in Guelph. It is also a National Historic Site of Canada since 1990. Built in the Gothic Revival style, the basilica is located on a hill overlooking the city centre. The twin towers are over 200 feet high 61 m. Joseph Connolly was the architect.
