Organ Pipe Worms and Scallop.
Organ Pipe Word Serpulidae - Loch Creran. Individual organ-pipe worms have an almost worldwide distribution but in a very few special places they grow together to form spectacular reef structures up to a meter high. Serpulid reefs are found in small numbers in two Lough`s in Ireland and are reported to be found in a lagoon in Italy, however the by far the largest reefs in the world are found in Loch Creran, just north of Oban in the Scottish Highlands.
