Die Stadtmusikanten Statue in Bremen, Germany
The Stadtmusikanten is a famous symbol from Bremen -- it was originally a fairy tale from the Grimm Brother`s about four animals who ran away from their homes to become city musicians in Bremen and to have a better life. The statue consists of a donkey, a dog, a cat, and a chicken. It is considered good luck to touch the front legs of the donkey or put your finger in his mouth - or if you can reach, to touch the chicken on the top. The statue is located right next to the old town hall in the Bremen Marktplatz.
