Dai Lanh Lighthouse was built in 1890, including a building block with an area of ​​320m2 and a height of 5m. Under the floor is the underground-tank containing rainwater, with solar systems put on the ceiling to provide power for lighting beacon and electricity for the guards’ daily life. The lighthouse tower is a gray tapered cylindrical block, 26.5 m high, over the floor and 110m over sea level, capable of emitting signals of 27 nautical miles away. Inside the lighthouse is a wooden 110-step stair. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the lighthouse from Mon beach. In spite of no longer recognized as the first point of welcoming sunlight, many visitors are attracted to the lighthouse and ask to stay overnight there to enjoy its beautiful terrain along with the perfect painting of rising sun from the sea. In addition to exploring Hai Dang lighthouse, one can endulge in swimming at Mon sea, looking at freshwater spring near the sea, fishing, exploring the majestic cliffs ... or enjoying fresh seafood; especially, the sea-eel dish unrivaled.
