San Francisco`s city-wide 911 Emergency Call Center, 4.
Anytime anyone calls 911 within the city or county of San Francisco; anytime anyone pulls the red or blue sidewalk emergency boxes, all of those calls are routed through the Department of Emergency Management at 1011 Turk Street. The call taker will evaluate the situation, and with the aid of their Computer Aided Dispatch, will get the right police, medical and/or fire sent out. They handle everything including and up to major national disasters within the city or county of San Francisco.
