Beautiful view of the iconic mountain Stac Pollaidh on the shore of Loch Lurgainn in the Highlands of Scotland
Stac Pollaidh often called by climbers Stack Polly is made of ancient Torridonian sandstone. It is only just over 2,000 feet high and can be climbed in around 3 hours - but to get to the true summit of the very rocky ridge requires rock climbing skills. Loch Lurgainn is in the Assynt region - remote and wild.
