The Ballcourt of Mountain Alban
A ritual ballcourt on the site of Monte Alban. Monte Alban was the seat of Zapotec power in the years before the Spanish in Mesoamerica. The temples and ruins were a central part of the civilization and are major archaeological sites in Mexico today. The Mountains are straw and green colored beneath a blue sky.
