Konik horse drinking at a water hole
Semi-wild konik horse, partly hidden behind the reeds, takes a drink at a water hole in a dune valley in the coastal dunes. Large herbivores like Koniks are brought back into the Dutch and Europeam nature reserves and live in the wild, to help maintain the natural eco-systems.
