Caves on the Mount of Temptation in the desert
Detail of the caves on part of the Palestinian Mount of Temptation where Jesus resisted the tempratations of Satan after fasting for 40 days in the desert. The mountainside is pockmarked with caves and there iare red cable cars to take tourists close to the Monastery of the Qurantul.
