Salmon, tuna and Yellowtail sashimi, sliced thinly and arranged in a flower shaped pattern with soy sauce. Sashimi is a Japanese delicacy consisting of very fresh raw meat or fish sliced into thin pieces. Sashimi is popularly served with a dipping sauce (soy sauce) and condiments such as wasabi paste, grated fresh ginger grated fresh garlic, or ponzu for meat sashimi, and such garnishes as shiso (perilla) and shredded daikon radish.
