Castle of Sant Miquel at Castellterçol town
The Castell de Sant Miquel Castle of Saint Michael or Castell de Castellterçol is about 750 meters away from the town center of Castell terçol in northeastern Catalonia. The first documentation on this castle is from 898, when it is mentioned the Castro de Quondam Terciol Castle of the deceased Terçol The main building of the castle is an almost rectangular construction with walls of a thickness of 1.3 meters. The preserved original walls are 4,2 meters high, except for the north, which reaches 10 m. The ashlars are large, squat, although many places have received substitutions and modifications.
