At dawn on June 6, 1944, the greatest military offensive in history began: the D-Day. Tens of thousands of British, American and Canadian soldiers disembarked on the Normandy coast France to liberate Europe from Nazism. A human tragedy has taken place here! Today the panorama is a place of memory dedicated to those soldiers. In the picture we can see the American Cemetery, a memorial place.
