The ruins of a simple Parish Church dedicated to St. Nicholas. Known as Prestwick Old Parish Church, it is surrounded by an ancient burial ground which contains the graves of a Covenanter, Knights Templars, Several Provosts, and many Freemen of the Town. Among the more unusual graves are a table grave and a slab grave with iron bands. In the 13th Century local monks held the church for their own use. Simple and plain it is thought the structure dates back to the 12th Century with modifications being undertaken in the 18th Century.
