In most of the Greek city-states, the spring festivities, called the Great Dionysias, were most solemnly celebrated. Each of the poets represented tetralogy, that is, three tragedies and drama with the participation of satyrs who, according to Greek mythology, accompanied Dionysus. The presentation of such a tetralogy lasted at least six hours, and most often - all day.
