Emblem of Cremona preserved under the portico of the Loggia dei Militi
The story of Giovanni Baldesio, a Cremonese hero of the eleventh century, popularly known as Zanen de la bala, is still remembered today by the symbol that appears in the emblem of the municipal emblem: an arm with the ball and the inscription `Fortitudo mea in brachio`.
