Sapelo Island Georgia Light House

Sapelo Island Lighthouse is the 2nd oldest brick lighthouse in the nation. It was built in 1820 and is 65 feet tall. It was unlit from 1905 - 1998. In 1998 it was restored to its 1905 appearance, fitted with a new lens and relit, but is not an official beacon.
