The Danube Delta 3446 kmòrnrnThe Danube Delta is limited to the south-west of the Dobrogea plateau , north of Bessarabia , and to the east it flows into the Black Sea . The Danube Delta is crossed by the 45 ð latitude N parallel and the 29 ð meridian, E longitude. To the north, Chilia and Musura arms form the border with Ukraine . Delta occupies, together with Razim - Sinoe lagoon complex 5050 kmò, of which 732 kmò belongs to Ukraine , the Romanian Delta having an area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹2540 kmò. It is framed by limes and lakes adjacent and comprises hundreds of lakes between the arms, of which a few dozen large sizes. Thanks to 67 million tons of silt brought by the Danube , the Danube Delta is increasing annually by about 40 meters.
