Szigetköz is the largest island in Hungary, with an area of 375 km2, a small area bordered by the Danube and the Mosoni-Danube in the middle of the Little Plain. It is an elongated, average 6-8 km wide, 52 km long area. A real plain that slopes slightly in the direction of NW-DK. Szigetköz occupies 7% of the Kisalföld region and 15% of the middle of the Gyà âr basin.
