Königssee, Berchetesgaden, Germany
K̉NIGSEE is a real fjord 8 km long and 1250 m wide. Even in summer, the water is cool because the lake is mainly fed by underground streams. On each side, the cliffs rise up to 2000 m. The wild landscape is magnificent preserved by its status of national park. The K̦nigsee and the Obersee are surrounded by Watzmann, Steinermes Meer and Hagengebirge.
