Tree Identification: Chinese Tallow Tree Leaf

Chinese Tallow leaves are broad rhombic to ovate with a wedge-shaped base.The tip of the leaf gradually forms a sharp point. Milky sap in leaf is poisonous to many animals, especially cattle. Leaves turn orange to scarlet in fall. Chinese Tallow trees are considered invasive plants.
