Hukou Waterfall is the second largest waterfall in China, the largest yellow waterfall in the world. It is adjacent to Hukou Township, Yichuan County, Yan`an City, Shaanxi Province, and Hukou Town, Jixian County, Linyi City, Shanxi Province. The Yellow River runs to this end. The stone walls on both sides are steep, and the estuary is narrow like a pot mouth, hence the name Hukou Waterfall. The water surface of the Yellow River upstream of the waterfall is 300 meters wide and is compressed to a width of 20-30 meters in less than 500 meters. The 1000 cubic meters / sec river water pours from the steep cliffs of more than 20 meters high, forming the spirit of `a thousand miles of yellow river and one pot.`
