Aase`s Onion endangered species native to Idaho
Aase`s Onion, allium aaseae, rare and endangered plant native to south-west Idaho. Found in Elmore, Ada, Boise, Gem, Payette, and Washington Counties. The plant is named for American botanist Hannah Caroline Aase 1883-1980. Family Amaryllidadeae, Genus allium, Species A Aaseae.
