Mathi Temple, Chitkul, Himachal Pradesh
The Mathi Temple is devoted to goddess Shri Mathi, who is the nearby goddess of the general population of Chitkul. The delightful sanctuary comprises of the goddess made up of walnut wood and secured with garments and embellished by a tuft of the tail of yak. The sanctuary is said to be in regards to 500 years of age.ÃÂ This temple has three shrines, the fundamental one said to have been worked by an occupant of Garhwal.
