Boulder field in the highest mountain chain Lysogory in the Swietokrzyskie Mountains, Mount Swiety Krzyz, Poland. The à šwiÃâ¢tokrzyskie boulder fields were created as a result of weathering of the late Cambrian quartzite sandstones in the period of the Quaternary. The main factor of the boulder fields creation was the climate, i.e. changes of temperature - freezing and thawing of the background; freezing of water in the cracks and fractures causing the disintegration of rocks. The name 'goà âoborze' refers only to the à šwiÃâ¢tokrzyski region. The 'Goà âoborze' became the symbol of the à šwiÃâ¢tokrzyskie Mountains.
