Kid`s Connection Park in Caledonia, WI is a 20,000 square foot handicap accessible playground built entirely by volunteers in the community. The playground includes many things to help children learn about and engage in the history of the Potawatomi Indian tribe. The Bear, Turtle, Beaver, Loon, Eagle, Wolf and Snake - major tribal names are all represented in this playground. Surrounding the garden is a flower garden in an effigy mound shaped lizard to resemble the mounds the Native Americans used to make. Parts of the playground are shaped as wigwams. Many children in the community helped to design the park.
