Pictured is Villa La Vigie in Juan-les-Pins, a village just west of Antibes, France. The small medieval style Sienna colored villa was owned by Frank and Florence Jay Gould. Many famous artists and writers resided their, invited by the couple, including Jean Cocteau, Estee Lauder, Charlie Chaplin, and Pablo Picasso. Florence Gould was a beautiful philanthropist who was also a sexual predator, a gambler, and a Nazi collaborator.
