Eroded strata in sea cliffs on the west coast of St Ninian`s Isle on the west coast of the south of Mainlan Shetland. These rocks are of Colla Firth Permeation and Injection Belt - pelite, migmatitic. This is metamorphic bedrock formed approximately 541 to 1000 million years ago and was originally sedimentary rock, but later altered by low-grade metamorphism
