Damavand volcano - the highest peak of the Elburs mountain range, passing through the whole of Iran, went out about 100 thousand years ago. Poppy since ancient times is a symbol of sleep, fertility, death, love potion, blood of fallen soldiers, the flower of angels and a talisman against various evil spirits.
