Lake Dobbiaco in the upper Val Pusteria valley is situated in between the Three Peaks and the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Parks. The small mountain lake south of the village of Dobbiaco originated from several rockfalls in antiquity - its inlet and outlet is the Rienza river.
