Knowth’s mound is the only one of its kind, because it has two corridors! The eastern corridor is a 34-metre-long corridor that leads to a central cuneiform chamber three apses, very similar to the Newgrange, which contains three niches, and stone bowls on which had the burned remains of the deceased. The right side, as is common in the burial tombs of the burial mounds of Ireland, is decorated with more megalithic art. On the contrary, the west corridor is 40 metres long and leads to another chamber that is not connected to the east one.
