Dunes in Trans-Moroccan Highway
National Highway 1, or Trans-Moroccan Highway N1, is a 2354 km Moroccan national highway that links northern Morocco with southern Sahara, departing from the port of Tangier and ending at the border post of Guerguerat. It is the only paved road that, even today, links North and West Africa.
