Night in Puerta Maya cruise port Cozumell. MS Nieuw Statendam is a cruise ship operated by Holland America Line, a division of Carnival Corporation & plc. She is the second of HAL`s Pinnacle-class, which also includes the MS Koningsdam and the forthcoming MS Ryndam. Her name, Nieuw Statendam, alludes to the five previous HAL ships named Statendam. Puerta Maya’s expansive cruise centre houses over 50 different outlets offering apparel, fine jewellery, artwork and other merchandise from such recognisable retailers as Milano Jewellers, Del Sol, Piranha Joe’s, Dufry, and Diamonds International. The facility also features 15 stand-alone carts where local merchants market colourful handmade crafts, costume jewellery and souvenirs.
