The Grot Rydal Falls

`The Grot` a grotto or summerhouse overlooks Rydal Falls on Rydal Beck in the grounds of Rydal Hall. It was built in 1668 and is one of the first purpose-built viewing stations - in this case situated to `frame` the view of the waterfalls.
