Sefid Chah ancient cemetery, Mazandaran, Iran
Sefid Chah cemetery or White Cemetery is located in Behshahr town of Mazandaran province in Sefid Chah village. The local residents believe that its white soil doesnââ¬â¢t let the corpses rot. Moreover, this cemetery has various patterns on the standing gravestones showing the character, job and even the habituate of the person lying beneath it. It belongs to about early Islamic period.
