Chapels of the church of San Gregorio Magno al Celio, also known as San Gregorio al Celio or simply San Gregorio in Rome, Italy. The church is part of the convent of Camaldolensian monks. San Gregorio is located on the Caelian Hill, in front of the Palatine. The church is said to be found by and is dedicated to Pope Gregory I, commonly known as Saint Gregory the Great 590-604. The façade and the portico can be considered the most prominent and artistically successful work of Giovanni Battista Soria 1629ââ¬â33.
