The pink bootees for baby baptism party shower in Romanian tradition celebration
This is a part of the Romanian traditional trousseau for the baptism. Pink bootees indicates that is a baby girl baptism party shower. Godmother dresses the baby girl and prepares her for religious service in church. The golden cross on a chain is a gift from the godmother and godfather to the child. The hair the priest will cut off from the baby is traditionally kept by the baby`s parents in a small box, like the round box here.
