KONNAPPOOVU Cassia Fistula

Kanikkonna or Konnappoovu, commonly known as golden shower. botanical name is Cassia Fistula. Konnappoovu is very closely related with the VISHU, An Indian harvest festival falls in 2nd week of April. The species is native to the Indian subcontinent and adjacent regions of Southeast Asia.
