Common Moorhen scientific name: Gallinula chloropus: It is a bird of the crane form and the hen family, with 12 subspecies. Medium-sized wading birds, 24-35 cm in length. The length of the mouth is moderate, and the nostrils are long and narrow; the head has a frontal nail, and the rear edge is blunt; the mouth and the front nail are brightly colored. It inhabits freshwater wetlands, swamps, lakes, reservoirs, reed ponds, canals, and paddy fields rich in reeds and aquatic plants, and also appears in forest swamps in forest margins and roadside canals and open forests.
