Kigelia africana in Kidepo Valley National Park. Uganda

African kigelia is a tree popularly known as the `sausage tree` because of the elongated shape of the fruits. The kigelia fruit can measure approximately 30 centimeters. It is dry and fibrous, but it is used as food.
