Simple Amish Farm Life in NYS

Cortland County NY some new Amish arrivals are buying land that has not been farmed since the earlier decades of the 20th century. The families farming those farms are ready to retire and there arenÃ¢â¬â¢t any young people ready to take the farm over. New York has the fastest-growing Amish population, and 5th-largest overall New York is a state which most people do not immediately connect with the Amish. But today over 12,000 Amish live in New York, in 89 church districts.
