This is a block type waterfall on the Kanger River and the milky water plunges 91 metres in a single drop over neatly cut rock steps into the pool below. This is an all season waterfall, but best seen in October, just after the monsoon, when the entire rock face is covered with a sheet of water. It is a scenic spot, surrounded by greenery and located at a distance of 35 kilometres south-west of Jagdalpur, inside the Kanger Ghati National Park. Picture taken on December 11, 2019, with a Canon DSLR EOS 550D, at a focal length of 16 mm, f/8, and shutter speed of 1/500s. A rhesus macaque is seen resting on a rock by the pool.
