Shield of the Motherland, Kyiv, Ukraine
The Monument of the Motherland stands 62-metres high and weighs 560-tonnes. She is also known as Rodina-Mat and towers over the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War and dominates the Kiev landscape.
