Penguins in icescape

A group of about forty adelie penguins in front of a beautiful Antarctic pack ice scenery. Parts of the icescape in the background are enlightened by the sun while others remain darker. Picture was taken near the tip of the Peninsula during a 3-month Antarctic research expedition.
