Amazing view through the rocks to the mountains and the village of Kalambaka in Meteora, Greece
The Meteora monasteries are located at a very high altitude - up to 300 meters, and the highest point reaches 549 meters. Until 1920, only true climbers and desperate daredevils could get here. The only rope ladders were very wobbly and unreliable.
