The construction of the Palace Museum in Beijing started in 1406, the fourth year of Yongle, the emperor of Ming and Qing Dynasties, was based on the Nanjing Palace Museum, and was completed in 1420, becoming the palace of 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties.
