The Vaser valley in Maramures Mountains.
The Vaser river is a right tributary of the river ViÃâ¢eu in Romania. Its length is 48 km and its basin size 410 km2. It flows into the ViÃâ¢eu in ViÃâ¢eu de Sus. Viseu de Sus forest railway - also known as Mocanita on Valea Vaserului is a narrow gauge railway from Maramures county, which runs from Viseu de Sus, on Valea Vaserului, to Carpati, at Coman station, near the border with Ukraine. The railway is exploited both forestry and tourism, being classified as a historical monument. Maramures county, Romania, Europe.
