A bend of the rail way after passing the black bridge to enter the tunnel.

This old black bridge is situated in Damodara, Sri Lanka. According to my knowledge, the old of the bridge is nearly a hundred years. The black bridge was built by British people with the help of locals in the colonial period. The supporters of the black bridge are made of stone blocks and cement. The iron structure combines together by using large reverts. according to my supervision, I did not see any welded parts with it. It’s still used on the Colombo-Badulla railway.
